EUGENE, Ore — Tried and true plants are a safe bet in your garden, but maybe it’s time to go outside the box with plants that have the “wow” factor.
Caleb Johnson, owner of Johnson Brothers Garden Market, rounded up nine plants that are weird, wild and unusual.
“I always feel like going into summer, it’s kind of fun to mix it up a bit. Get something different instead of the tried and true,” Johnson said.
And something different that kids will enjoy are carnivorous plants like the Pitcher Plant and Sarrencia.
